Plant Manager / General Manager Bulgaria
Our customer is an internationally active company from a German-speaking country and is one of the world’s leading providers in the machine building industry. The well known company has a long tradition, operates several production locations all over the world and is striving for further intensive growth. Our client has had its own production site in Bulgaria for many years. As part of a reorganization of company management, the position of the Plant Manager / General Manager needs to be filled in Bulgaria.

Job description:
- Our client plans to further expand its international market position. As part of a reorganization of company management in Bulgaria, the position of the Plant Manager/General Manager needs to be filled for the production site there.
- If the job is successful, promotion to the position of General Manager is possible and desired.
- As Plant Manager/General Manager, you are responsible for the entire plant management and operational management
- Structuring and increasing efficiency of the organization
- Development, revision and optimization of business processes
- Responsible for budget, results and liquidity management
- Controlling the preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements
- Advising the management in the HQ regarding strategic corporate decisions
- Ensuring and optimizing efficient and smooth production in collaboration with the Technical Manager
- Leadership and motivation of employees
- Compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Reporting to headquarters
Job requirements:
- Excellent command of Bulgarian language (on a native level) and good command of English and/or German is required, both orally and written.
- Several years of successful professional experience in a comparable management position, preferably in an international production company
- Sound knowledge of production planning and control
- HR and leadership experience
- Commercial knowledge and good technical understanding
- You are a strong leader in every respect, someone who can convince your employees based on your professional competence.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Competent, independent and goal-oriented way of working and trading, friendly and confident demeanor
- Hands-on mentality
- You are a “proactive” personality and have a high level of initiative and commitment, analytical and strategic thinking
- Very sociable, communicative and team player
