Senior Controller – Czech Republic

Our client is an internationally operating company from a German speaking country, one of the leading system suppliers in the logistics industry, particularly in the areas of contract logistics and fulfillment. This well-established company maintains numerous locations throughout Europe and serves customers from all industrial sectors. Further intensive growth is being pursued both in the Czech Republic and internationally. The position of Senior Controller is currently vacant at the Central Bohemia location.

Job description:

  • As a Senior Controller, you will assume key controlling responsibilities at the Central Bohemian location, particularly with regard to the further development and optimization of appropriate controlling processes.
  • Budget preparation and budget monitoring
  • Forecast preparation
  • Variance analyses
  • Further development and optimization of existing controlling tools
  • Maintenance of the ERP system with regard to controlling requirements
  • Reporting

Job requirements:

  • Excellent command of Czech language (on a native level) and good command of German and/or English is required, both orally and written.
  • Several years of successful professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in an international company.
  • Preferably a university degree or comparable training in the commercial field, ideally with a focus on controlling, auditing, or logistics.
  • Good numeracy skills and enjoyment of working with numbers and large amounts of data.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP skills.
  • Analytical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a hands-on mentality.
  • Willingness to travel (5 to max. 10%).
  • You are a proactive individual with a high degree of initiative, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
